NEW CHAMPION Marin Jelica!
This particularly Saturday felt a bit more crispy and the air way more fresher than other mornings this summer. That made me recognize what time of the year it is and what's soon to come. With the autumn approaching you may expect thick clouds, rain and stormy days. At this Trollywood event Marin Jelica showed us that even i august the STORMS may arrive soon enough to show it's power. Marin Jelica is locally a well known player for playing the archetype "Storm" in more than just one format. This guy plays Storm in both Modern and Legacy and according to some rumors he's crazy enough to challenge him self to play Storm even in Duel Commander. Let this rumor stays as a rumor and focus on why his love for Storm decks is so strong. In Marin's own words...
"Storm has always had a special place in my heart, and I find Ruby to be an interesting twist on the standard storm deck. Since the most common line focuses on 2x Bonus Round + Fiery Confluence, "true" storm spells are mostly used when that plan doesn't work, E.g Empty the Warrens + Alchemist's Gambit against players with The One Ring protection."
