Are you ready for a new era in our Weekly Leagues? The League system is undergoing some transformation in 2026, with exciting updates to the point system, qualification for Nationals, and increasing of the prize support. Let's dive into the details of these improvements.
Three more weeks of pure joy.
We are now adding 3 weeks to the leagues, this means that the duration of the Leagues will be 15 weeks instead of 12 weeks. Reason to this change is quit simple... we are joining the European Unity League new system which make it easier for you to follow ranking ladder at their website as well as their own updated benefits described below.
What's New with the Point System?
In the new League system, points are pretty much the same as before. We are focusing in updating the value of participating in our Leagues. Therefore we are increasing the participation points from 2 points to 3 points instead. With this change we think this will reward players how are more frequently playing i our leagues, which is good. With the change to 15 weeks, only your best 11 results will counts towards the playoff.

How Does the Qualification to Nationals works?
Gone are the days of complicated qualification criteria. We will continue our collaboration with the European Unity League during 2026. Due to their own changes to the league system, our leagues will also follow these upgrades. From now on every League Tournament will increase your collected points with multiplier x2 instead of x1. Together with this change the winner of the each playoff will Qualify for the Nationals at the end this year. Nationals are the next destination before heading to the European Magic Cup to battle against the best players i Europe and compete for "tons of prizes". Last but not least, you will also get to represent Team Sweden at European Magic Cup.
What Can Players Expect in Terms of Prize Support?
Level up your gaming experience with increased prize support in the new League system. With some change of entry fee and longer duration of the leagues there is more room for increasing prizes support. Following support and fees will be added to the Leagues.
- Top8 Playoff prize support are 3500 Store Credits
- Payouts for 3-0 -> 200 Store Credits
- Payouts for 2-1 -> 120 Store Credits
- Entry fee: 100 SEK
- All of this above applies for both Modern- and Duel Commander League.
